One of the most accessible and successful names to come out of the metalcore movement that came to a boil at the beginning of the 21st century, AVENGED SEVENFOLD have undergone changes, both stylistically and internally, during their rise to one of the most prominent places in the pantheon of modern metal. The climb culminated in gold and platinum plaudits for their 2016 album "The Stage", which also earned them a Grammy nomination. A long seven years of waiting later, the group - currently made up of M. Shadows on vocals, Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates on guitars, Johnny Christ on bass and Brooks Wackerman on drums - finally released a new full-length record in 2023, entitled "Life Is But A Dream...".
