Formed in 2008 by Tom Gabriel Warrior, the creative mind behind the historic Hellhammer and Celtic Frost, TRIPTYKON emerged as the most personal and profound expression of the Swiss musician's artistic vision. With a sound that plunges into the abysses of doom, black and avant-garde metal, the group asserts itself as a vehicle for exploring themes such as melancholy, loss, nihilism and spiritual transcendence - always with a risky and sophisticated musical approach. The debut album, «Eparistera Daimones», was a manifesto of intent: dense, oppressive and absolutely devastating, and paved the way for a journey that never surrendered to trends or easy formulas. This was followed by 2014's acclaimed «Melana Chasmata» and, in 2020, the monumental «Requiem (Live At Roadburn 2019)», a collaboration that materialised the three-decade ambition to complete the symphonic trilogy conceived back in the days of Celtic Frost. Live, the collective offers intense, almost ceremonial performances, where the weight of the compositions is combined with an austere, hypnotic presence.
